One of the few sites I had never visited while in Florida, was the Jacksonville zoo, my kid told me it wasn’t the largest zoo, however it would be fun for the ladies, so my buddy and I headed out, i was used to our zoo back where I lived, there were sites all over the zoo where you could get under shade in addition to it would be a lot cooler! I was ready to go home, however I didn’t want to go back to the apartment.

I didn’t know how much sightseeing they had near Lakeland, FL.

It sounded like a genuinely nice locale to stay, so that is where I booked our hotel. I booked the hotel because it was far enough away from Sea World, Orlando, FL that it was cheaper. It was also close enough to Sea World, Orlando, FL, that my nice friend and I knew it wouldn’t take long to get to our ultimate destination, once my nice friend and I got to Lakeland, FL, my nice friend and I were looking at all the things to do in the area, there were more than 2 natural habitats like Lake Mirror & Lake Morton. There was an adventurous scavenger hunt which meant you had to walk around the neighborhood & find strange clues that would lead you to your destination. Along with this, there was also a Safari Wilderness that left my sons wanting to go there before my nice friend and I opted to go to SeaWorld, Orlando. Although my nice friend and I had tickets for SeaWorld, my nice friend and I could use them any time. My pal and I spent a full week investigating all there was to see in Lakeland, FL, then even though it was hot & my nice friend and I were grateful to have the air conditioning in the room, my nice friend and I were still excited to have found all the fun & interesting things you could do in Lakeland, FL, honestly, my nice friend and I took a full week before moving on to our next destination. Only one day was spent inside, & that was because of the heat & humidity, but my nice friend and I still found things to do. Their restaurants are fantastic, in Lakeland, & my nice friend and I plan to have a destination trip next year, where my nice friend and I go to Lakeland, FL to see what else my nice friend and I can discover.

Unless you have lived in Lee’s Summit, MO your entire life, you can’t imagine the splendor of the Magic Tree; Every year, the Magic tree is lit up at Christmas time, and it sits in the intersection of two busy highways, plus it has been a community staple for decades.

• It has been a arena for people to visit plus a spot to drop off toy donations for the Operation Toy Soldier nonprofit.

In recent years, it has become the perfect backdrop for Christmas selfies by both natives of Lee’s Summit plus tourists! Not being a native resident of Lee’s Summit, I knew truly little about the Magic Tree. My best neighbor talked about the Magic tree from Thanksgiving until Christmas holiday, he could not wait to go back to Lee’s Summit for the holidays this year, plus he asked me to go with her. Normally, I would be going south with my parents, plus enjoying warmer weather, the pool, plus A/C; They had decided to go visit Aunt Linda in London, plus I didn’t want to go along. I agreed to go with her, as long as his parents thought it was okay, but when my buddy and I got there, I was glad I had brought my heavy winter coat plus gloves. It was warm on the jetliner, but it was freezing as my buddy and I walked across the tarmac! As soon as the heating in the airport hit, I was beginning to thaw. The Heating plus A/C system in the taxi was even better, but it wasn’t until my buddy and I got to my friend’s household that I felt comfortable. The temperature was thirty-two, plus separate from the furnace, I would have frozen. Even with the cold, it was still the best Christmas I had in years.
