Every year, my Dad volunteers to work at Sculpture Walk Sioux Falls, but they have the annual tastes of Sioux Falls.

Tastes of Sioux Falls is a fundraising event to help fund Sculpture Walk, Sioux Falls.

Taste of Sioux Falls is the region’s most popular tasting event that draws in nearly 250 foodies to taste the food prepared by a dozen premiere restaurants from the Sioux Falls area. The event is held in November, so if you plan on going, check the weather, then you may need a heavy jacket or to layer your clothing, i used to love the Sculpture Walk, Sioux Falls’ Tastes of Sioux Falls.

When I told my partner I wanted to go to Four Winds Casinos in South Bend, IN for my birthday, he laughed, and i told him my great friend and I could make it a weekend trip, however he wasn’t sure what to say, but finally asked what he was supposed to while I was losing money. I told him he played the slots as much as I did, & he’d have a lot of fun, and my buddy and I could spend the evening in the Four Winds Casinos hotel, & then the next afternoon, my great friend and I could go to the Studebaker National Museum. He lit up like a child on Christmas afternoon. I knew all about Christmas afternoon because my birthday was on Christmas Eve & I got all my gifts on Christmas afternoon. He told me to keep an eye on the weather, but that wasn’t a concern. My buddy and I lived about fifty miles from South Bend, & it was a trip my great friend and I could take in a couple of hours, even if it was snowing… They had excellent heat in both places I wanted to go to, & even if the weather was bad, my great friend and I had four-wheel drive & could go slow. I had answers to every question he had. I could tell he would not argue when I told him about the Studebaker National Museum. He is a car buff, & I adore cars. It surprised us to learn the Studebaker family had over a century of experience on wheels at the museum. They started with the making of Conestoga Wagons in 1835 & ended when their last Studebaker rolled off the line in 1966. I was entirely interested, even when I my great friend and I saw the world’s greatest collection of Presidential Carriages. It was an amazing weekend for both of us.

I was born and raised in Alabama, however I had recently moved up north… I loved the new section and how it was winter season with freezing afternoons and evenings. Some of the older girls were wearing jackets, and I had to laugh, however mom pushed a bingo card over to me and told me to relax; Bingo would be over in an hour. I was ready to go home, however I didn’t want to go back to the apartment.

My partner said he already knew about the crime rate in Lowell, and it was 20% lower than anywhere else. He said the schools were excellent. The only real disadvantage was the weather, however my associate and I lived in an section that was fraught with snow and rain. I found a household that had a brand up-to-date Heating and A/C system, and it was close to the schools and parks that were highly rated for families. He told them they could continue to complain about where my associate and I were moving, however my associate and I were moving, and they had to get used to the idea. They all knew they had the opportunity to come stay anytime they wished. A part of me wished my associate and I had issued a blanket invitation, because I was sure my sibling and his sibling would be here the entire time they were out of school.
