My roommate and I decided to go to Denver for the weekend. There was a band playing at a venue and both of us wanted to go. Tickets to the concert were inexpensive, but we had to take an airplane to Denver, because we live about 4 hours away. It was much easier to fly than to try to drive. While my friends and I were in Denver, we decided to hit up some of the cool tourist and recreational spots. One of those places is the recreational and medical marijuana shop. I honestly thought that would be enough to keep the dogs from smelling the marijuana products. That did not keep them away from the marijuana or the bag. I had to empty out my suitcase and sit and talk to the police for 15 minutes. They threatened to take me to jail, but they only confiscated the marijuana in the bag and told me to have a good day. I bet a hundred people everyday try to sneak marijuana out of recreational states.

The weather in Seattle can be quite depressing, because it is very cold, wet, and dreary.

Seattle is located close to Puget Sound and miles away from the Pacific ocean. The city has great views of the water and on a clear day you can even see mount rainier. Seattle has mild and wet winters. During the winter, I hate to leave my apartment. I tried to get everything delivered, which is a lot easier now. Recreational marijuana has been legal in Seattle for more than 10 years. There are licensed retail marijuana shops located all over the city and many of these establishments offer free delivery. I can get marijuana delivered to my home in less than an hour or two from at least five or six different places in the city. It’s very easy to order online, because the website is set up for dummies. I can easily add items to the cart and the checkout process is faster than ever. When it’s cold and wet and I don’t want to leave the house, I use the delivery option for all of my Seattle recreational marijuana needs.

I don’t know how I feel about all of the residents around here being able to use medical marijuana products.

I know that it is supposed to help with chronic pain and PTSD and things like that, but it wasn’t that long ago when the just say no initiative was in full force.

I was not in favor of the law changing and now there is nothing that I can do. I had a lawn service employee that was here on Monday and the guy smelled exactly like marijuana. I wanted to say something to the employee or the manager, but I remembered that medical marijuana is legal in Philadelphia and the entire state of pennsylvania. There are several different medical marijuana dispensaries located in and around Philadelphia. Many of the locations are located downtown and in the city, but I live up in the hills. I will look for a different place in Philadelphia that has employees that have been drug tested and background checked. I don’t want to take any chances at all when there are going to be people moving around inside of the gated property.

The dichotomy of Glenview is inspiring to me.

On one hand we have a modern, clean, safe community.

Glenview is a neat and orderly place to live, with the sleepy friendly vibes you normally only get from a very small town. This is a tightly-knit community that embraces different lifestyles and religions, and that is one of the reasons I love it here. On the other hand, Glenview still has a strong connection to the past, and there are some places that feel like they haven’t changed in a hundred years or more. One of the more fascinating places to visit in Glenview is called Wagner Farm, which is a small piece of the massive farm first set up by the Wagner family in the 1850s. Nearly 175 years later and the community of Glenview maintains it as a local park, so that everyone can take a peek into the past. Don’t go to Wagner Farm expecting air conditioning, of course, the place is too authentic for that. I prefer visiting the farm during the winter, because the hot summers make the lack of A/C too overwhelming for me. My favorite place to visit in Glenview, and a place I visit once every few weeks, is called The Grove. The Grove has the best walking trails in all of Glenview, and there are also animals you can interact with! Once again, don’t go to the Grove expecting it to be air conditioned, but it’s still an amazing and fun time. In Glenview it’s easy to enjoy local history, and then go shopping afterward.
