A fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars

Living in Jacksonville, Florida, I have become a dedicated fan of the Jaguars.

EverBank Stadium is the home of the professional NFL team.

The stadium is well-known for it’s beautiful architecture and unique features. When it initially opened in 1995, it was called Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. Over the years, the venue had seen numerous name-changes. It settled on TIAA Bank Field in 2010, It was designed to host NFL games and a variety of major sporting events. With a seating capacity of over 67,000, it is one of the largest stadiums in the state. One of its modern innovations includes the World’s Largest Video Boards. There are actually two gigantic video boards, and each one is sixty feet high and more than three hundred feet wide. This state-of-the-art video display offers an amazing viewing experiencing, making sure that the fans never miss action on the field. The stadium is also outfitted with a pair of swimming pools and twenty canabans. There is nothing quite like watching the game from a poolside seat or while lounging in the water. The pools are popular for private parties and corporate events. Another attraction is the Clevelander Deck, where fans can live it up with a readily available supply of food, drinks and live entertainment. Along with hosting everything from professional to college football games and live concerts, the stadium has a positive impact on the Jacksonville community. Ever event brings tourists into the city and generates significant income. There are plenty of job opportunities, and a beneficial stimulation for local businesses. While the Jacksonville Jaguars have won four division titles, I’m still waiting for them to make it to the Super Bow.

There’s lots to do in Gilbert

After living in Gilbert, Arizona, for the last three years, I’ve discovered there are a lot of un things to do.

Along with a friendly community, there are beautiful landscapes and rich culture.

I like to explore historical sites, sample different restaurants and explore the outdoors. One of the first areas I found was the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch. There are more than one hundred acres of scenic trails where I can spot wildlife and all different types of birds. Another favorite is Downtown Gilbert. It’s has a small-town feel but is a hub of activity. There a lots of boutiques for shopping, art gallerties, cafes and a variety of restaurants. I can choose from American classics as well as international cuisine. I love the gourmet burgers, spiky tacos and sweet desserts. A lot of the local restaurants take ingredients from farm to table. On the first Saturday of every month, the Gilbert Farmers Market takes over the streets, providing artisan goods, fresh products and live entertainment. Just recently, I visited the Gilbert Historical Museum. Located in a historic school building, the museum showacases exhibits, artifacts and interactive displays that share the rich heritage of the community. Whenever time allows, I spend a day hiking the San Tan Mountains. There are eight thousand acres of desert landscapes and hiking trails that wind through breathtaking views. I might jog or ride my bike while I enjoy the fresh air. During the summer months, I take advantage of the local lakes for kayaking, swimming and paddleboarding. No matter the time of year or my mood, I can always find something entertaining and exciting.
