I really enjoy Mexican food.

• You just can’t go wrong with it.

As a vegan, it is the one of the only things that effortlessly caters to my diet. With most dishes, they are going to sneak meat in there. Mexican food utilizes avocado and peppers which are some of my favorite vegetables. I also really enjoy spicy food. The more hot sauce the better. Quesadillas, tacos, burritos, fajitas, you name it, I will eat it. There were a lot of reasons I hoped to go to NM. One reason is I wanted to work at a cannabis dispensary and there are lots of them there. The local cannabis shops are high end locations that cater to a broad range of customers. Tourists flock to Albuquerque certainly to experience recreational weed. I also loved that Albuquerque had hiking trails, cool bars and the best eating establishments around. When I started looking at the local eating establishments and seeing all the Mexican food, I was so interested. There are so many locations that serve Mexican dishes. They don’t just simply take beans and peppers and then put them in a flour wrap. They each have their own special sauce, chili and salsa. The first thing I did when I moved to Albuquerque was start trying out all the local Mexican joints.. I now have a location that I want the salsa and a location that I get the tacos at. I am always down when someone wants to eat out. I am quick to name a Mexican place because who doesn’t want to get drunk on margs?

Marijuana Pick-up Albuquerque NM

My best friend Dani and I recently went on a quick trip to Albuquerque, NM.

The two of us wanted a location that really had everything.

In Albuquerque there are hiking trails, cute hotels, pretty bars, cannabis dispensaries and all sorts of museums. Basically anything you want, this little village has it. Sarah asked myself and others if I wanted to see the Albuquerque Isotopes while we were there. I didn’t even look up what it was. An isotope is a mathematics thing, I remembered that from college. I figured he wanted to do some boring mathematics museum thing and told him I could do it. I didn’t realize that it was easily the name of the local baseball team. I had never been to a baseball event in my whole life. It was sort of cool seeing the locals lose it over a game. Dani and I tried the Isotope’s Slammin’ Amber which was a local beer that everyone was having at the game. I got some popcorn and Dani got a hot dog. The two of us watched the game where we had no clue on the rules and the players’ positions. It was still fun watching something that everyone did lose their minds over. It also was neat to say I had been to a professional baseball game. The local team won which was doubly fun as well. My friend Dani and I got a bit buzzed up that night and both agreed it was the best night of the whole trip. I might even go to another baseball game in a different state. It was such a fun time.

 

Weed Dispensary Albuquerque New Mexico

I am really into getting on my bike and riding.

I started out just buying a simple bike to save on gas.

In Albuquerque, it is not like there is loads of traffic and people to ride around. I wanted to bike to stay fit and also get to local bars and shops easier. I prefer leaping on my bike and going over the local cannabis shops. A lot of the cannabis shops don’t have the best parking. With my bike I can just put it up against a tree and walk right into the shop. I can opportunity up a few edibles, CBD oils and a big vape if I want. I pile them in my bike bag and call it a day. I have expanded my biking quite a lot. The bike that I visit cannabis shops is my fun bike. This bike has bigger tires, a bag and is a pretty silver color. If I want to get severe and easily bike in the dirt and along trails, I use my mountain bike. My mountain bike has whisper thin tires, tons of unusual gears, a water bottle mount and is yellow. One hiking trail I like to bike on is Bear Canyon. Don’t get this confused with AZ, I am talking about NM. I can bike a really long haul on all sorts of land when I do the open loop of Bear Canyon. It is such a great workout for myself and others and I am outside in the air and sun. I prefer that I can see locals and tourists alike walking around. I prefer that I can just stop and prefer nature in the middle of my work-out if I want to.

 

 

Recreational Weed Shop Albuquerque New Mexico

I am a big supporter of our Off Center Community Arts Project.

Here in Albuquerque we have a nonprofit place where local artists can be on their own. You have access to a studio space where you can do your stuff in peace. Anyone can have a spot in the studio. Art is a really broad and easy term too, and people who paint, make clothes, make jewelry and play guitar are all at the studio space. I prefer the mood there and the peace. I prefer that I can set up my easel, bring my paints and not be talked to. If I want to chat to local artists like myself, it is always welcomed. I have made quite a few friends through Off Center. I am really big in acquiring donations to keep the location going. Secondly, I do supply a painting class every Friday at 3 pm and all the money goes back into the center. A lot of the local artists will be giving sewing courses, crafts, guitar lessons, you name it. It is pressing to keep our community going. Not only is encouraging art a great thing, but having a safe space for boys. There are men that go to Off Center that might not have the best homelife, but here at the studio, they can be safe. Off Center also has been known to draw in tourists and help us raise money. Most people come to NM looking for recreational marijuana. Both of us have tons of shops here. However, travelers soon find our state has a lot more to offer.

I prefer wine.

When I turned the right age I hunted around trying to find the drink that was for me.

I think beer tastes just like pee, and vodka, gin, whiskey, all of those hard liquors are just gross to me. I can’t drink them plain and I don’t prefer the plan of a sugary mixer with it. Wine just really stood out to me over the rest. I started getting into wine and where it was made. I started hunting for good years for certain wines. I now go to wine tasting events in my home state of NM all the time. I prefer trying current wines and from local farmers. Once a month I make it a fun little night out for myself. One place I prefer to go to is the slate street cafe. It is a more classy night out when I do my wine tasting. There is a separate wine place where you can order food to pair with the unusual wines you are trying. The food and ambience really is just fun. When a wine tasting is happening at the cafe I am booking my ticket. I usually drag a buddy with me and we have a great time. It really gives you everything you could possibly want in an evening out. You get food, wine, a fantastic atmosphere and conversation. I prefer talking with the workers at the cafe, the people selling the wine and other tasters. Both of us wine people have our own little vibe and are protective over it. Even if you didn’t enjoy wine, the slate street cafe has something for everyone.
