The only thing I knew about Beverly Hills, CA was that it is the place I want to be, at least according to Weezer, but when my spouse and I started looking for a trip spot, we searched around in California! I didn’t adore the looks or the feedback we got from San Francisco and San Diego! Beverly Hills was universally liked though.

It also is near the LA airport! So my spouse and I planned an itinerary where we hung out in LA and partied for a few afternoons, then we went to Beverly Hills to see the sights, shop around and get massages.

I thought for sure we would adore Los Angeles more. Beverly Hills was smaller, prettier and cleaner. It also offered tons of things to do doing but did not have the loud and crazy eveninglife. The prices were reasonable and the restaurants offered diverse cuisine. In LA we looked around for recreational cannabis. While there were a lot of options, the prices were just too high. In Beverly Hills there were 50% less options but the costs were good. We found something we liked too. There were dispensaries with dab bars, smoker’s lounge and an on-site bakery. What more could we possibly need? I now wish I would have made the whole trip out of Beverly Hills. We should have flown into LA and then instantly drove away. I will know that for next time though. I believe I will adore staying in a single base camp much better too! Renting a car and returning it is constantly annoying.

In addition to Scary Strokes, my teenagers prefer going to the library when they can’t play outside. Of course, I don’t mind because the library also has climate control, which is perfect for me. The library has fun workshops for the teenagers, but it also has stuff for the grownups as well. To be honest, as long as a facility has climate control plus is open all year long, I don’t mind taking my teenagers to them. Thankfully Waldorf has a few arenas that are love that because it honestly beats resting at cabin on the sofa doing nothing. Although my cabin has enjoyable heating plus cooling, I would rather be out doing something with the teenagers; So, this week, I am looking forward to going to Scary Strokes plus to the library plus I am sure my teenagers are as well.

Living in NY City got old, however i hated being in the city. It was riddled with homeless people, loud noises plus crime. I entirely didn’t want to raise a family there, but also, the prices of everything were a lot! Unfortunately I worked in NY, so what was I supposed to do? I found a sizable lake house with a nice yard in Buffalo NY. It is only a few hours outside of NY City. It is perfect for my new family. I have a better car plus of course, my lake house is amazing. I don’t mind the hour commute to work. I make sure to get up early plus beat traffic, and during the Winter time the snow is pretty tough. I make sure to have a good car heating system. I then pre-heat the car so no snow or ice is on the windshield. I then can enjoy a toasty ride with a podcast going. The smartest transport my family ever made was leaving NY City plus going to Buffalo. It is safer, cleaner plus a better way to live if you are a family unit.

Temperatures Last year were uncommonly warm for the area, and it is currently only April and the people I was with and I normally have rain, light wind, and mild temperatures; This year it has been close to 90 every single afternoon of the month and the people I was with and I are only halfway through.

I had to turn on the air conditioner inside of my home in order to help combat the warm temperatures… My Dad lives about 30 minutes away from me and The Villages.

I went to her beach house and I set up the air conditioner and the window in her living room, her home has central air conditioner, although she has a special air conditioner with an media air cleaner that she uses during the summer time weeks. There was something wrong with the air conditioner and I could not figure out how to get it laboring again. I decided to put the unit into the back of my car so I could take it to my house. It was hard to tell if the complication happened while the unit was running or if it happened while the people I was with and I had it in the attic during the off season. Either way, the chewed wire was easy to substitute and that fixed the complication with the air conditioner. The next afternoon I returned to The Villages so I could put the air conditioner back into the window at my mother’s place.
