I got a call from a young man and the guy was calling from a region outside of Ocala known as The Villages. The Villages used to be a very small area, but now it is a city on its own. I often spend a lot of time working in The Villages. Florida is a very hot and humid place and The Villages are located right in the middle of everything. There are lots of problems with air conditioning systems during the summer and that’s when the bulk of my money is made. The young man called me from The Villages and said that he was living with his grandmother. His grandmother had an older house from the ’90s and the place needed a new air conditioning system. I told the young man that was something I could help with and I told him that I could schedule an appointment for a free diagnostic check. If there was a repair to be made, I would include the diagnostic check as part of the repair. If the customer needed a brand new system, then I would complete the estimate for free in hopes of being able to persuade the customer to use our services for the new system installation. I didn’t have any trouble finding the address, but it was her to see the house number from the street because the yard was terribly overgrown. The young man told me that he had been caring for his grandmother for a while. I honestly felt bad for the woman, because he wasn’t doing a very good job.

Waldorf, MD, is a great place to raise a family.

• It has a smaller population than some of the larger cities nearby and it has a really nice hometown feel.

It is one of the major suburbs outside of the Washington metropolitan area. Washington DC is only a 30 minute drive from my home. I work in the city, but there’s no way I wanted to live there because of the expensive real estate rates and all of the traffic and tourism. I absolutely love to visit the city, but I prefer to live in Waldorf, Maryland. My wife and I have three kids. All three of the kids are in high school. One of our sons plays sports and we were in downtown Waldorf last week for a baseball game. We were gone for three or four hours and when we came back to the house, there was no air conditioning. The system wasn’t running at all. My wife told me to call a Waldorf, Maryland AC repair company, but I was determined to fix the problem on my own. The thermostat was off and I honestly thought batteries were going to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I spent about an hour trying to fix the problem before I finally gave up and contacted the AC repair company. My wife thought I called them an hour earlier and she was aggravated and annoyed because it took 3 hours for the Waldorf AC repair company to respond to our call. It has been a dream of mine to ride on a yacht and that dream finally came true for me.

I have been on many boats before, but never a luxury yacht and somehow my boyfriend made it happen and I was beyond happy.

My boyfriend Sam works at a luxury car dealership in the Tampa area. So, he gets to meet and rub elbows with a few influential people all the time. Recently, he met the owner of a major construction company. Turns out, he owns a small luxury yacht, and he invited Sam for a ride. Of course, Sam immediately asked if he could bring me along, since this has been a lifelong dream for me. Fortunately, the guy had no issues with Sam bringing me along. That day was literally a dream come true for me, and the yacht itself was truly breathtaking. The upper level had a large deck for sunbathing, but it was the lower level that blew me away. The room was incredible, and it had the coldest air conditioner. I have never been inside a yacht, so I wasn’t sure how people kept comfortable while they slept. Well, apparently, there are air conditioners made especially for yachts. But what I wasn’t expecting was the air conditioning to feel as good as it did inside my house. It was so comfortable below deck that I found myself spending a lot of time down there luxuriating in the cold air conditioning. After my dream yacht experience, my boyfriend teased me because I raved mostly about the air conditioning than anything else.

I love to get a bargain and a great deal.

There have been lots of times this year when I wanted to make a purchase, but I didn’t because it wasn’t a very good deal.

I hate to pay retail prices for anything, but I love to shop at the flea market or the salvage yard in Lakeland. When I can get a bargain, I feel very proud of myself. Sometimes my wife says that I am too cheap. Last year there was a time when the air conditioner broke down in the living room and my wife wanted the two of us to go to the hardware store and buy a brand new machine. I know the cost of air conditioners at the Lakeland hardware store and I didn’t want to spend $400 on a brand new machine. There was only a month or six weeks left of the hot and humid weather and I convinced my wife that we should wait. In December, there were a lot of used air conditioners available at the flea market. I decided to purchase two 18,000 BTU unit air conditioners. When it started to get one this year, I told my wife that we didn’t have to worry about calling a Lakeland AC company because I had the problem handled. I installed one of the air conditioners in the living room and I installed the other air conditioner in the garage. We have to pay about $50 more every month for our air conditioning costs, but the indoor air quality is much cooler and nicer.

Here in Buffalo NY, we are known for our major blizzards and snowstorms.

But what most people don’t mention is that we have some of the most pleasant weather during the Summer months.

With an average temperature of 78 degrees, Buffalo is the perfect place to have some fun outdoors without worrying about finding reprieve from the heat. One of my favorite attractions is the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. I love the different yearly events that they have. I also love going to Canalside to kayak or paddleboard and spend some time on the water. So, while most people in other regions of the state are at home basking in their air conditioners, I love that we can be outside enjoying the beautiful weather. And I try to take full advantage of the nicer weather because in no time, it will be cold again. And I will be the one cooped up inside my home with my furnace on full blast. Thankfully, I have a really good furnace that is well-maintained, so that my home can be nice and comfy during those brutally cold months. While I prefer the Summer weather in Buffalo, I do like going out in the Winter as well to venues that have climate control. There are also a few places without climate control, but they do provide patio heaters for extra comfort. Whether it’s Winter or Summer, I can always find something to do here in Buffalo. This means, I don’t have to be cooped up in the house with my air conditioner or furnace running all day.
