One of my favorite things to do during the winter months is play hockey.

I live in a neighborhood that is about 35 minutes from Buffalo, New York. I drive to the city on the weekends for work. I am a part-time HVAC technician for a Buffalo service company. I make extra money for working on the weekends, so I only have to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week. I have off four days and I use that time during the winter for hockey. My boss at the Buffalo HVAC business is also very flexible. His son is in the same hockey league as I am so he knows when the games are going to occur. Both of us get those days off if the games are early on a Sunday. We never have games on Friday or Saturday, so I don’t have to worry about that. Not everyone thinks that hockey is as wonderful as I do. I started dating a new girl a couple of months ago and she doesn’t understand why I want to live, eat, and read ice hockey. I grew up playing hockey and during the winter months it is one thing that occupies a lot of my time. If she is really unhappy with the relationship, then I guess our time dating is probably going to come to a close. There’s no way I’m going to give up hockey for anyone and that includes my future wife.

My friends and I were hanging out downtown in Fort Collins, Colorado on a warm and humid summer day.

We went to the river early in the morning and then we met downtown at a bar that all of us like to frequently hang out at. We met at the bar around 1:00 in the afternoon. We hung out there for several hours. The bar has two for one drink specials all afternoon and from 2:00 until 4:00, the restaurant has half price appetizers as well. My friends and I did not leave the bar and restaurant until after 5:00. By then I was very drunk and I needed to go home. I went to Fort Collins with a friend of mine, but he was not ready to leave the city yet. I decided to take an Uber back to my apartment. I live a few minutes outside of the downtown area, but still in Fort Collins, colorado. It wasn’t a very long drive. Unfortunately, that Uber driver said that his air conditioner was not working properly. He had the air conditioner on the lowest setting possible. I had the window about halfway down and the Uber driver complained because he said the air conditioner was working hard already. The guy took a one-way street and almost got the two of us killed. When I got home, I had two missed messages from my girlfriend. She was complaining about the guy at work that keeps trying to get her to go on a date with him. By the end of the day, I needed a long nap.

Elgin, Illinois, is a city that is located about 30 minutes west of the city.

I absolutely love living in Elgin and I have been here for a while. There are so many fun and exciting activities and you don’t even have to go to the city to have fun. One of my favorite places in Elgin is the casino. My friends and I can sit down at the slot machines and play for hours. The casino is also a venue that offers events and concerts. I went to a concert with my friends last weekend and we decided to stay at the casino until the early hours on Saturday morning. I was pretty drunk, so I took an Uber all the way back to my place. It cost me almost 50 bucks and I had to drive back to the casino the next day to pick up my car. Thank goodness one of my friends took me for free, because I didn’t want to spend another 50 bucks for an uber. It was only a seven mile trip. When I got back to my place on Saturday morning, all I wanted to do was lay down in my bed and go to sleep. Unfortunately there was no AC at all. I have a ductless mini split in the living room and there was no cold air coming out of the machine at all. When I turned on the machine, nothing happened. I turned the temperature all the way down and I still didn’t have any air conditioning. I had to contact an Elgin AC repair company to diagnose the problems with the machine.

Petersburg is very close to tampa. St. Petersburg is a great place to live. It is situated right in the middle of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of mexico. I live closer to the part of old Tampa bay. I am closer to Pinellas Park than I am to St. Petersburg, but I spend a lot of my time in the city. I work for a company that handles residential and commercial Heating and AC repairs and installation work. We also satisfy a variety of other problems such as mechanical and electrical problems, plumbing issues, and refrigeration leaks. Monday through Friday I drive from my home all the way to St. Petersburg so I can work at the commercial heating and AC repair and installation business. I am one of the only commercial technicians working for the company that is NATE certified. Having a NATE certification is a really big deal and there are only a handful of technicians with this special accreditation. Before I moved to St. Petersburg, I worked at a different commercial heating and AC repair business. The owner of the company was very kind and nice, but it was a very small business and he could not give me any more money. I knew that there was plenty of money to be made if I could get my foot in the door at a bigger business. When I was offered the job in St. Petersburg, there was no way that I could say no. The money was right and it wasn’t a huge commute either.
