When I decided to add an addition onto our Lowell, Massachusetts home there were a lot of choices to make.

I knew I wanted the area to serve as my office. I wanted a lot of windows and plenty of space to stretch out. I also needed an connected powder room. I debated on connecting to the existing HVAC duct of the house. I then realized my new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit would have needed to be replaced to a larger one. I didn’t want to get into that substantial expense. I also don’t use my office all day long, everyday. It made sense to do a small Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit just for the office and powder room, however for heating I had heated flooring put down; Underneath the office carpet and powder room penny tile there are electric heated mats, and they keep the floor hot all winter long, and when your feet feel warm, the body feels hot as a result. I can lower the temperature in the office because it feels so toasty. For AC I am able to get by with just a portable unit that plugs into the wall. The air conditioning system does a great job and I only run it when I am in the room, and so for a few hours five nights a week in the Lowell summers. It makes for a small energy bill and does not affect the rest of the house. The addition itself was pretty overpriced. It is nice that I was able to save quite a bit of currency on heating and cooling. I certainly like how everything turned on! My new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit works just perfectly for my Lowell, MA area.

It is just because it is freezing plus that is why he is pushing to have the windows open.

My husband is kind of obsessed with air conditioner. He certainly runs a few degrees warmer than the average person. He is typically the one that is a little hot or slightly hot in Minneapolis, Minnesota… Our apartment control component is set to 68 degrees, but i am not happy with it. I would certainly like to have 68 degrees. If I had to choose, I would take the heating over the AC anyday. In the Summer I would like to not run the AC as often as my wonderful friend and I do, then periodically Iw ould like to open up the windows plus let in a fresh breeze. I am easily aware that the air quality in our apartment is stale plus dry. It would be nice to introduce fresh air for a few mornings, my husband immediately complains about the heat though! The windows all get shut plus the AC is fired back on! Basically all year long, all day the air conditioner is required to work. I get so freezing that I mainly do my work plus workouts outside. I hate resting around freezing to death. In the winter time I get a little agitated with myself. He doesn’t ever want to run the heating system plus my wonderful friend and I live in Minneapolis, MN, but suddenly now the air quality is so gross plus my wonderful friend and I have to open the windows. It is just because it is freezing plus that is why he is pushing to have the windows open. I want to have heating sometime! I would like it to not be freezing in my house. I get fatigued of typically needing pants plus a jacket. It is like going to the movies where they blast AC. Only I live at the theater plus I am never at the right temperature.

When Don told me my associate and I would be heading to Fort Collins in CO, I was excited, but for months, I had been telling him my associate and I needed to take a cut from labor and travel, then this was once our favorite pastime when my associate and I got together, and in fact, Don and I met on the road when my associate and I had both gone hiking.

My pal and I soon became friends, and things progressed when my associate and I realized my associate and I lived in the same area; However, life has changed, and it’s been 5 years of total chaos in our household.

This is why this trip to Fort Collins made me so excited. I had told him about this amazing city located in northern CO. Not several people know this, but this is a location full of so much history and historical locations to visit. I once study an article by a travel blogger detailing her experience traveling to Fort Collins one Summer and I instantly added it to my bin list… When Don said my associate and I would do something this summer, I told him about what I had study and sent him a link so he’s also study up on it. Well, I guess she did and began to plan a surprise for me because she knew my associate and I had to take a cut from work, the kids, and all that our lives demanded; Since it’s summer, Don made sure to rent out an airbnb with an a/c to keep us cool and comfy. Though it was hot, my associate and I had a good time, and I particularly loved this outdoor concert one Summer evening while in our trip.
