Waldorf, MD, is a superb arena to raise a family! It has a smaller population than some of the bigger cities nearby & it has a legitimately nice hometown feel.

It is one of the major suburbs outside of the Washington metropolitan area.

Washington DC is only a 30 minute drive from my home. I work in the city, but there is no way I wanted to live there because of the lavish real estate rates & all of the traffic & tourism. It was so comfortable below deck that I found myself spending a lot of time down there luxuriating in the cold air conditioning… After my dream yacht experience, my boyfriend teased me because I raved mostly about the air conditioning than anything else.

One of the best things about living in Orlando is that my friend and I have a lot of attractions, and my friend and I have Disney World, Universal, SeaWorld, and more, and plus, there are lots of other smaller attractions that are scattered throughout the city, so there is always something fun to do here! And of course, the weather is always sizzling for most of the year, which allows for visitors to maximize their theme park experiences; I live in Orlando, however I am not a large fan of the theme parks during the warmer months, then besides the fact they are always crowded, I don’t particularally like being outside in the heat for long periods of time, however so, if I do go to the theme parks, I usually go during the cooler months of the year.

And though the parks have lots of retail and indoor spaces that have air conditioning, it’s not enough for me especially after laying in a line in the heat for over an hour, then don’t get me wrong, the parks do a good task of keeping their visitors cool; There are misting stations, lots of places where you can get water, indoor attractions with air conditioning, as well as water rides that are good for cooling off! Not to mention that some of the queue lines also have air conditioned areas.

So, although there are lots of possibilities for cooling off at the park, I have a better experience when the weather is nicer outside, while at the parks, I would rather spend my time basking in the nice weather, than worrying about finding spots for cooling off in the heat.
