After my lady and I broke up, I was alone all the time, but i told my therapist that I was feeling depressed.
I told her that I was thinking about calling my ex-lady to see what she was up to, however my therapist suggested it might be a better method to get a pet.
I went to the local town shelter and visited with some of the cats and dogs… The town shelter had several parakeets, a set of lovebirds, and an iguana as well, however I knew that those animals would require way more toil than I was willing to give. I also toil a lot of long hours at the Albuquerque heating and A/C maintenance business. I needed a pet that would not require use of the lavatory every few hours. I tend to toil 10 or 12 hour afternoons on the weekends and I did not want to worry about my pet being angry. I went to the shelter a couple of mornings after I was done working at the heating and A/C maintenance shop. There was a single dog that seemed to genuinely like me, and he was an older German Shepherd and Pitbull mix. That dog was genuinely cute and friendly and he seemed to like myself and others a lot. The lady at the Albuquerque company told myself and others that the dog would be a great fit for my needs and my schedule and suggested that I take the pet apartment for a weekend. I took the dog apartment on Tuesday and by Tuesday afternoon, I was ready to sign all of the paperwork and adopt a modern companion.
