I applied to all kinds of crazy universities during my senior year of high school.
I basically didn’t want to wait until the last minute & I wanted to make sure that I had all the choices I needed. I took the decision pretty seriously & I weighed all of the pros & cons before going for the right college for me. I was a little upset when our kid told me that he was going to choose a college based on legal recreational cannabis! My kid chose the University of NM, because that state has legal recreational cannabis available for sale. I honestly cannot say that the University of NM in Albuquerque is an awful choice, but legal recreational cannabis is not the finest reason to choose a college. My kid had a large amount of applications from various colleges & he had acceptance letters from a half-dozen places. Regardless of that fact, he chose to transport to Albuquerque & attend university there! He is now in his junior year of college. I suppose he uses legal recreational cannabis, but he doesn’t let it affect his grades whatsoever. He is a straight-A student & he plays soccer for the college team on top of that. If I wasn’t thinking about the marijuana he is likely using, I would absolutely suppose that everything is all good. I cannot stop feeling distraught. I fear that our little one will go off the deep end & get started with missing classes one of these days. I suppose it seems highly unlikely, however I learned a lot of studies online that prove cannabis can easily stunt growth in our brain, and that totally is my largest & worst fear.
