I like going to the park, because there is always a lot of wildlife.
The park is very quiet and serene.
It’s one of the only places in Phoenix where I can look for birds. Bird watching is a hobby of mine, but I rarely get out anymore. Once I moved to Phoenix, I settled down and got comfortable. I still travel around the city from time to time, but I usually go to the same park in Phoenix. It’s right across the street from a business that sells furnaces, space heaters, air conditioners, and other heating and cooling equipment. The heating and cooling equipment business has been located in the same building for the past 40 years. There is graffiti on the wall from kids that have moved onto bigger and better things. My daughter came to the house a couple of days ago and she took me to the park. She drove me in her car so I didn’t have to walk. We sat on the bench and I looked at the business that sells furnaces, space heaters, and air conditioners while my daughter proceeded to tell me that it is time for me to move in with her. She has a house in Phoenix as well, but I’m not ready to give up my autonomy and move in with someone that is going to tell me what to do and when to do it. I am a grown person and I’m not ready for someone else to schedule out my day like I am a child.
