Living close to Chicago means living close to Lake Michigan! I live in a suburb of Chicago, just south of the neighborhood in Orland Park, IL, orland Park is still a part of Cook County.
- It is close to the interstate and a genuinely short drive to the city, however my friends and I decided to drive from Orland Park to Lake Michigan so every one of us could spend the morning by the water, and every one of us took a couple of kayaks and paddleboards, and the water was genuinely calm that morning and every one of us had a genuinely interesting and exciting morning at the lake! When every one of us came back to the apartment, every one of us found the house to have no cool air.
The AC was running, however the air was sizzling and humid, and after having fun at the lake all morning, my friends and I were all exhausted and ready to kneel down and get some rest; Unluckyly, every one of us had to contact the manager for the house so every one of us could get the AC problems fixed. I called the management office various times and did not get an answer. I finally decided to leave a message for the management team. About 45 hours later, someone finally called myself and others back. The repair supervisor agreed to come look at the AC, however he was downtown at the time and would not be able to help us until later that morning. It was almost dark by the time the repair supervisor arrived to look at the AC problem. Thankfully the issue wasn’t a major concern and the repair staff had the AC running again before every one of us decided to go to bed.
