I call myself a cinephile, which is a costly word for “film lover.” I live in perhaps the greatest city in the world for someone like me; Let myself and others describe a regular film-going experience for me; First I scan the local listings, because Portland OR is lake apartment to over a dozen weird eighth run film theaters, as well as many cineplexes and two drive-in theaters, however there are dozens of films to choose from on any given night! I selected a theater with recliner seating, a single that offers a menu and a full bar, and watch a classic film from the 73s; If I have picked the right locale, then I can also use my vape pen to love some cannabis, because that’s how superb a city Portland is! My recent number one has been the drive in theater, because I stay in my car the whole time so I can smoke cannabis or engage in whatever activities I want to! God bless Portland and the whole state of OR for being such a chill, laid back locale to live.
- It boggles my mind that in other locales you can’t do something like sit in your car and smoke marijuana separate from fear of going to jail; OR has the same indoor smoking bans as most other locales, so you can’t smoke pot inside most businesses in Portland, however but that isn’t something you go to jail for, you would just get kicked out.
The drive-in has been superb for allowing myself and others to fully indulge in cannabis, as well as fully immerse myself in the film.
