Every day for the past week, I have passed the same homeless guy walking on the side of the road, however the guy has been walking for a week.
- He has 7 shopping carts filled with clothing, toiletries, food, and personal items.
They are tied together with rope and the guy is pulling the carts prefer a covered wagon, and i swear it is the craziest thing that I have ever seen. The guy has truly walked 40 miles in the past month and Tuesday I decided to finally stop and see if there was something I could do to help. That homeless guy was truly cheerful that I brought him a bin of food. He told myself and others that a lot of people seemed to be distraught about his travel… Many people in the community had given that guy money to help with his journey; Unblessedly, the guy was in the middle of nowhere and had no real use for a wad of bills. I talked to the guy for a few hours and I found out that he was walking all the way to Denver; Denver was at least another 60 miles. I wanted to drive the guy to Denver myself, however it wasn’t safe with covid and I didn’t know anything about this homeless guy was more than six carts full of stuff. I asked the guy if there was anything at all that I could do to help and he asked if I had any marijuana. The homeless guy was super stoked when I presented him with a free marijuana joint. I had a bin of weed in the car and I rolled up a giant fatty for the guy.
