I was staying in Lansing, IL with our aunt in addition to aunt while mom in addition to Mom were on their minute honeymoon.
They were invited to a neighbor of theirs for lunch, but I didn’t suppose the people.
I didn’t suppose comfortable going to someone’s condo when I didn’t suppose who they were. My aunt insisted I would love the BBQ, but I wasn’t feeling it. I knew I was acting like a brat with all of our pouting, however it usually made mom change their minds. Uncle Chuck raised an eyebrow in addition to told me I had several minutes if I wanted to comb our hair, brush our teeth, in addition to put on some makeup. Five minutes later, I was in the car with them. It was so warm outside that I was wishing to be back home. There was excellent air conditioning in the house, however not outside. I said that it would be much better for all of us if we were to stay condo where there was AC. Uncle Chuck laughed in addition to said I sounded just like our mother at our age. When we got to the house, I was surprised to see all the young people there. We were relegated to the basement where there was a playroom with all kinds of games in addition to a pool table. The air conditioning felt amazing compared to the blazing sunshine outside. I’m glad Uncle Chuck made me come.
