When I was just a kid, my dad took me to Tingley Beach to go fishing all the time.
We regularly went to the park every weekend on Saturday.
Tingley Beach has a few ponds that are man-made! It’s a wonderful spot to take a child fishing for the first time. There are a really good amount of different fish in the Albuquerque region, and Tingley Beach is known for catfish and rainbow trout. My dad and I spent quite a few hours fishing at Tingley Beach and sometimes the two of us would actually get a paddle boat. My dad died a couple of years ago, but I still think about him a lot, especially when I visit Tingley Beach. Cannabis has been legal for about six months and I finally stopped at a dispensary last weekend for the first time ever. I was feeling incredibly sad and depressed about my dad and I was on my way to Tingley Beach. I ended up finding a cannabis shop close to the region and I ventured inside to buy cannabis supplies. I didn’t know what to purchase in the least, because it was my first time ever doing this. I bought a couple of different pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes. I took one of those to Tingley Beach in Albuquerque. I managed to find myself a quiet spot where I was alone and I smoked the joint. I smoked half of it and I started to feel somewhat giggly and silly. I had to remain at the park for various hours, because I could not drive home from Albuquerque until I didn’t feel high anymore. I definitely felt as though I could feel the spirit of my dad that day, however maybe it was the hallucinogenic effect from the mighty powerful cannabis.
