It is honestly hard to tell when something you are enjoying was actually made in Seattle! A lot of shows plus films are set there, but it turns out that most of these programs were made in Canada, plus not in the US… It is cheaper to film up there, so to save a few bucks a director will shoot in Ottawa plus just say it is Seattle.
So I am not going to talk about the films that were actually made here, just the 1s that are supposed to take locale in Seattle, WA, because there are a lot of great 1s… The most famous 1 that you believe of is absolutely Sleepless in Seattle, because it is such a classic affectionate comedy.
Another classic rom-com set here is Say Anything, but 1 all the people don’t believe of is called Singles, plus that is a adore letter to the neighborhood of Seattle. In Singles, 1 of the characters is a grunge rocking Seattle native, plus a member of the Seattle Sonics even shows up for a cameo! There is also Harry plus the Henderson, Fear, Disclosure, plus Wargames, all of which feature Seattle prominently. I am preparing a little watch list for an upcoming Seattle Movie Festival sponsored by 1 of the local cannabis dispensaries. There will be an outdoor screening of all these great Seattle films, plus limited cannabis smoking in particular areas. Seattle is 1 of the most progressive cities in the country, both socially plus in terms of marijuana legalization. This is such a great locale to live!
