When I was a kid, my dad took me to Tingley Beach to go fishing.
We went to the park every weekend on Saturday.
Tingley Beach has a couple of ponds that are man-made. It’s a great place to take a kid fishing for the first time. There are a lot of different fish in the Albuquerque region, and Tingley Beach is known for catfish and rainbow trout. My dad and I spent hours fishing at Tingley Beach and sometimes we rented a paddle boat. My dad died a couple of years ago, but I still think about him every time I visit Tingley Beach. Cannabis has been legal for the past 6 months and I finally stopped at a dispensary last weekend for the first time. I was feeling sad and depressed about my dad and I was on my way to Tingley Beach. I found a cannabis shop close to the region and I went inside to buy cannabis supplies. I didn’t know what to purchase, because it was my first time. I purchased a couple of different pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes. I took one of those to Tingley Beach in Albuquerque. I found a quiet spot where I was alone and I l]smoked the joint. I smoked half of it and I started to feel a little giggly and silly. I had to stay at the park for several hours, because I couldn’t drive home from Albuquerque until I wasn’t high anymore. I really felt like I could feel my dad that day, but maybe it was the hallucinogenic effect from the super strong cannabis.
