I waited a long time for recreational weed to be legalized in the state of IL, however since December 2020, adults 21+ have been allowed to purchase, possess & consume cannabis products… I am relieved that I no longer need to go through the hassle & expense of qualifying for an MMJ card… The card expires after a single year, forcing me to go through the process & pay the fees again… Now, I have access to any of the recreational dispensaries situated someplace across the state.
