I didn’t know how much sightseeing they had near Lakeland, FL.
It sounded like a really nice place to stay, so that is where I booked our hotel.
I booked the hotel because it was far enough away from Sea World, Orlando, FL that it was cheaper. It was also close enough to Sea World, Orlando, FL, that we knew it wouldn’t take long to get to our ultimate destination. Once we got to Lakeland, FL, we were looking at all the things to do in the area. There were several natural habitats like Lake Mirror and Lake Morton. There was an adventurous scavenger hunt which meant you had to walk around the city and find different clues that would lead you to your destination. Along with this, there was also a Safari Wilderness that left my sons wanting to go there before we went to SeaWorld, Orlando. Although we had tickets for SeaWorld, we could use them any time. We spent a full week investigating all there was to see in Lakeland, FL. Even though it was hot and we were grateful to have the air conditioning in the room, we were still thrilled to have found all the fun and interesting things you could do in Lakeland, FL. Honestly, we took a full week before moving on to our next destination. Only one day was spent inside, and that was because of the heat and humidity, but we still found things to do. Their restaurants are fantastic, in Lakeland, and we plan to have a destination vacation next year, where we go to Lakeland, FL to see what else we can discover.
