The dichotomy of Glenview is inspiring to me, however on one hand my wonderful friend and I have a modern, clean, safe community, however glenview is a neat and orderly location to live, with the sleepy friendly vibes you normally only get from a legitimately small town, and this is a tightly-knit community that embraces unusual lifestyles and religions, and that is one of the reasons I love it here.
- On the other hand, Glenview still has a strong linkion to the past, and there are some sites that feel like they haven’t changed in a hundred years or more.
One of the more fascinating sites to visit in Glenview is called Wagner Farm, which is a small piece of the large farm first set up by the Wagner family in the 1850s, and nearly 179 years later and the community of Glenview maintains it as a local park, so that everyone can take a peek into the past! Don’t go to Wagner Farm expecting air conditioning, of course, the location is too authentic for that; I cherish going to see the farm during the winter, because the sizzling summers make the lack of air conditioning too overwhelming for me, however my number one location to visit in Glenview, and a location I visit once every few weeks, is called The Grove. The Grove has the best walking trails in all of Glenview, and there are also pets you can interact with! Once again, don’t go to the Grove expecting it to be air conditioned, but it’s still an amazing and fun time. In Glenview it’s simple to appreciate local history, and then go shopping afterward.
