The entire state of Massachusetts is awash in American history plus importance, even though I like to focus on the town of Lowell, however there are endless books plus resources about the state, plus for wonderful reason, even though I always pay more attention to my hometown; For many years my mother was a reporter for the Lowell newspaper, mostly covering local stories about prominent citizens.
This means that I am well-known plus well-liked around Lowell, just because my mother was so beenjoyed up until she died, however maybe it’s not a bad thing, because she enjoyed her job at the Lowell newspaper, which is now out of business, however one thing I find fascinating about this arena is how the population of Lowell has fallen plus risen over the years! Lowell has been in existence since about 1830, when it started with a few thousand residents, then it grew steadily for a hundred years, before an industry collapse caused a mass exodus, after that, Lowell started growing again, rebuilding for the next 100 years, until today it is bigger than ever.
This is superb modern for me, because I run a small HVAC repair service, so all the modern arrivals to Lowell means more company for me! Although I enjoy learning about the history of Lowell, I am not a writer like Mom was, I am a humble HVAC tech who likes to read. Fun fact about Lowell that most people don’t know – my wonderful friend and I are dwelling to one of the biggest populations of Cambodian-Americans in the country, plus Cambodia even has a sonulate office here!
