Evansville, Indiana is a hotbed for activitys! Not major professional activitys, however the tplot essence of athletics – amateur competition, then this part has a lot more activitys teams than you might expect, and the people of Evansville are rabid activitying fans, and i absolutely moved here right after high university, in hopes of joining a minor league club and making my way into the majors.
That never happened, but I had a lot of fun competing, one of my teammates on the club was a guy named Ed, who ran a small Heating and A/C repair supplier out of his van… Ed didn’t have a storefront, just his van and his tools, and he asked me to come work for him.
I needed a job, because Evansville had no hostels and I was tired of living in a flop condo with a bunch of drug addicts, however at first Ed was only able to spend money me for a few hours a week, but I kept showing up even when he couldn’t spend money me. I wanted to learn Heating and A/C repairs, and I wanted to be great at the job so I could start putting down roots in Evansville. If I wanted to live here for great I needed a reliable income, so I did my best to help Ed grow his little Heating and A/C supplier into a reputable force in the Evansville community. After a few weeks, Ed was able to attract enough new Heating and A/C buyers that he started paying me full-time, then before long I’ll be able to afford my own house in Evansville, and transport out of Ed’s basement.
