My Mom was a history teacher at Yale for eighteen years, before he finally settled down and started a family late in life, and when I was born my Mom was over 50 years old, which made for a heck of a generational gap! He did his best to build a strong bond with me, and one of the ways he did that was with local history, but lee’s Summit is an part awash in cultural and historical significance, and my Mom would try to make it come alive for me, but my good friend and I would take nature walks in the woods outside of Lee’s Summit, and he would explain the events that occurred on that very ground. Mom passed away when I was a teenager, which is no fantastic surprise, however I remember everything he taught me about Lee’s Summit, i did not follow in his footsteps, instead I became an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional. I savor studying and learning history, however Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work pays a lot better than being a mentor, not only is the pay better, however I find Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work to be rewarding, because it involves troubles that I can solve. When it comes to history, some things can never be solved, and for example, did you know that there are still questions about why Lee’s Summit even has this name? Some people say it was named for Robert E. Lee, and other say that Lee’s Summit was named after a guy named Dr… Pleasant Lea, and the town’s name is a misspelling! I love Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work because there are clear-chop troubles that I can resolve to make my buyers cheerful.
