I wasn’t born in this country, but it is the only one I have ever known.
I don’t even have much of a British accent, I just sound like I come from Orland Park like most people else around here, and my parents were both sizable history buffs, plus I think I got my curiosity from them, because I care about reading about the land around Orland Park, plus its long history. Before it was called Orland Park, the first settler in the section was a man named Henry Taylor, who moved here in 1834 plus called it Orland, a few other families of settlers joined him, plus finally in 1892 the city of Orland Park became official, however even though there was access to a rail station, Orland Park did not grow actually much. In fact, before the year of 1950 the city of Orland Park never had more that a few hundred residents at a time! Times have changed, but, plus now Orland Park is quickly approaching 60,000 residents! This is superb news for me, because I am a certified Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech plus I need all the customers I can get, however orland Park is usually temperate throughout the year, but the winters can get bitterly cold, so my skills at furnace service are always in demand. I may be a history buff, but I make my living by serving the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C service needs of Orland Park.
