My sibling is a large time wine snob; Anytime he can try current wines and judge them, he is down, then he makes his own wine and has a local contractor that he supports! Stonehaus Farms Winery is the locale to go in MO.
A lot of people wouldn’t think that MO is a large wine state, but our winery is awesome; You can get classic red, semi-sweet, dessert wines or fruit wines if that floats your boat, but my sibling and I make it a mission to go there at least twice a year.
My associate and I do a summer time and a winter event, and what is certainly nice is that anytime someone in the family or our neighbor group gets married, they do it at the winery… The Fest Hall and Garden Room are gorgeous and perfect for either the large afternoon or at least a rehearsal supper. You know you are getting great booze when you book the event. Most of the time when my pal and I attend a wedding, it is in the summer. The MO winter season gets frigid cold. While the winery is indoors and has a wonderful boiler, most brides don’t want to deal with ice, snow and a dire windchill. The summer time hot and cold temperatures are in the high 74s or low 74s. That is just perfect for the event. The locale has nice AC or if you want to lounge around outside, it is comfortable for everyone, however if you are a wine lover, check out MO to taste what there is to offer at the local winery.
