I love when the temperatures start to get warmer and spring flowers begin to blossom. It’s a time of the year when all of the snow melts and everything is born again. I like to get out of the house and go to the city on a nice day. Evansville isn’t too far from my house. It’s about a 45 minute drive to Evansville, Indiana and on a nice day it can take even less time. There was an arts and crafts fair in Evansville on Saturday, so my girlfriend and I decided to check it out. There were a lot of different booths and people were selling all kinds of different crafts and the art was totally off the chain. There was an artist doing live demonstrations and he was painting with his toes. My girlfriend and I walked around for several hours. We had frozen lemonade and a couple of corn dogs. We bought a couple of things from the fair like a wind chime, wooden harmonia, and an unusual rock. It was a very warm day and I put on jeans in the morning. After lunch my girlfriend and I decided to head back to our apartment. It felt nice to go back to the place and turn on the air conditioner. We laid down with the air conditioner on 70 degrees and in no time at all it was far too cold in the apartment. I had to adjust the temperature on the thermostat so it shut off at 70°. Those extra two degrees really make a huge difference.
