I have to work every other weekend, although I legitimately don’t mind; My bestie has to work every weekend at the hospital, then on the weekends when I work, I have to be on call in the middle of the evening for emergencies… Sporadically the weekends can be quite long when I have multiple cooling system service calls in the Jacksonville area, last Tuesday evening was one of those busy and long weekends. I left my home around 10:00 in the evening because a client near the beaches called for an emergency repair. I was finishing up with the ductless AC service when I got a second emergency service call, the client was calling from the Westside and it was one of our commercial shoppers. She has a laundromat that is open 24 hours a afternoon. The central AC unit was blowing sizzling air and she wanted us to repair the concern in the middle of the evening. Even though I was all the way at the beach, I still went to the West Side to help our client out with the commercial AC repair. I did not get to go back to sleep until almost 7:00 in the afternoon. Thank goodness I did not have any service tied up for Tuesday, because I legitimately needed to get a little bit of rest.
