The 16th Street Mall in Denver, Colorado is a single of the longest outdoor mall locations in the entire world.
The mall runs for more than a mile from And includes more than 300 food establishments, stores, shops, and boutiques.
The 16th Street Mall also happens to be home to the Denver Pavilions. This open air concept mall was introduced in the late 1990s, and it has several well known establishments and eateries like the Hard Rock Cafe, Coyote Ugly, and Lucky Strike bowling lanes. My lady and I met at the Denver Pavilions! She was a waitress at the Hard Rock Cafe and I was working as a dishwasher. When I made the move to propose, I knew the Denver location was the most suitable location. I had everything planned perfectly and I hoped and prayed that my lady would say yeah. I went to a cannabis dispensary close to our place and I purchased some recreational edible cannabis treats. I planned to put the ring in a single edible cannabis treat. I told the budtender at the recreational cannabis dispensary and she gave me a couple of great ideas. When my lady and I finished having our meal at the Hard Rock Cafe, I got down on a single knee and made my proposal. She was totally caught off guard, especially when she realized that the ring was inside the pot brownie. The rest of the night was super fun. My fiance told everyone that she got engaged that night and we drank for free at a lot of places that served alcohol. There are a good amount of outdoor bars on the one mile Denver city stretch and that’s a good amount of beer.
