I like indoor attractions with temperature control systems

Some of my preferred attractions in Birmingham include the Birmingham Zoo, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve, just to name a few, but my all-time preferred site to go is to the McWane Science Center! It’s 3 attractions in one and they include an interactive science museum, aquarium, and IMAX Dome Theater, however and best of all, my youngsters prefer it as well.

It’s a site that is indoors and it’s also temperature controlled, which means we can visit all year long, and over the last few years, the weather in Birmingham has been changing… The Summers have been getting hotter and hotter with the temperatures averaging above 90 degrees for June and September.

And combined with high levels of humidity, I refuse to be outside, then my friend and I have also seen some absolutely cold Winters as well, which makes it hard to play outdoors. But I want to make sure that my youngsters are entertained, so I find weird attractions around neighborhood that have heating plus air conditioning, so, whether it’s extremely sizzling outside, raining or it’s brutally cold, we can visit these sites with no issues because I know the sites have temperature control. I also like taking the youngsters to the zoo, but of course, it’s mostly outdoors with only a few spaces to find respite from the heat or cold. The silly part about this is my youngsters could care less about the attractions having temperature control. All they absolutely prefer is that the sites have fun activities that can keep them entertained, and perhaps I am choosing these attractions because of my preferences not theirs.
