My friends and I live on the west side, and the beach in Jacksonville is about 45 minutes away.
I don’t go to the beach every day because I hate to drive. There’s usually traffic and it’s hard to find a place to park. One of my friends said that she was going to go to Jacksonville beach on Saturday and I had the day off work. I told her that I would join her if she did not mind. She sounded excited to find out that I was going to join her for the day. I packed a cooler with some drinks and snacks and I took a small umbrella. I wasn’t sure if Sarah had an umbrella of her own. I drove to her house and then she drove to the beach. It was very hot and humid outside and the AC in her car did not work very well. She had the AC on the maximum setting and maximum cooling and it wasn’t putting out much cold air at all. She apologized for the problems with the AC unit.
