After reading about how energy smart heat pumps were, I wanted one for our Lee’s Summit home, and i wasn’t scared of the cost, I had the cash and could typically make more.

Really a heat pump is only effective until around 40 degrees. After that you are staying in a cold loft and using undoubtedly overpriced emergency heating. I was undoubtedly disappointed I couldn’t have our heat pump after all… Thankfully I called our Heating plus Air Conditioning dealership and complained about it. The Heating plus Air Conditioning worker informed myself and others that I could just do a dual fuel Heating plus Air Conditioning method in MO. This combines a gas oil furnace and a heat pump system; For most of the year the heat pump is the one at work. The heat pump provides A/C and heating for temperatures above forty degrees. When Winter time takes over and it gets actually cold in MO, that is when the gas oil furnace is tagged in. What is nice is that I never need to do a thing! My Heating plus Air Conditioning method automatically fluctuations from electric to gas based on the temperature. So for around 68% of the year I am getting the most energy efficient Heating plus Air Conditioning option out there.
