After learning about how energy smart heat pumps were, I wanted a single for our Lee’s Summit home. I wasn’t scared of the cost, I had the currency and could consistently make more. A heat pump is only nice in moderate temperatures, but since it uses existing heat energy, you absolutely need to have some heat. So if you live in Lee’s Summit, MO enjoy me, you can’t expect a heat pump to find heat energy in -20 degree weather. Really a heat pump is only effective until around 40 degrees. After that you are staying in a frigid apartment and using unquestionably lavish emergency heating. I was unquestionably disappointed I couldn’t have our heat pump after all, and thankfully I called our Heating and A/C dealership and complained about it. The Heating and A/C worker informed me that I could just do a dual fuel Heating and A/C system in MO. This combines a gas gas furnace and a heat pump system, however for most of the year the heat pump is the a single at work. The heat pump provides AC and heating for hot and cold temperatures above forty degrees. When Wintertide takes over and it gets really frigid in Missouri, that is when the gas gas furnace is tagged in. What is nice is that I never need to do a thing, my Heating and A/C system automatically variations from electric to gas based on the temperature. So for around 73% of the year I am getting the most energy efficient Heating and A/C option out there.
