I absolutely appreciate living in Tampa, FL, but i relocated to the Sunshine State a little over five years ago, and the town of Tampa is just beautiful.
It offers good weather plus amazing scenery.
There’s self-explanatory access to beaches, ocean waves, high-end shopping plus fantastic food, then plus, I am a big hockey fan, however since moving to Tampa, I’ve bought season tickets to the Tampa Bay Lightning games. Attending a hockey game in the south is honestly odd than in the north. I used to need to bundle up in a wool coat, hat, gloves plus heavy boots to prepare for the games. I would first shovel the driveway, brush the snow off the hood plus scrape the ice from the windshield of my car. I distraught about dangerous driving conditions. The walk from the parking lot to the location was bad because of the snow plus cold! Now, I consistently drive to the games with the a/c blasting. I wear shorts plus a T-shirt, plus the walk from the parking lot to the location sometimes has myself and others covered in sweat profusely. It’s a relief to step inside the air conditioned location. In the middle of the winter, the cool environment feels lovely… When it’s time for playoffs, there are sometimes issues with keeping the rink cold enough for good quality ice. I never need to worry about bringing along a coat or getting stranded in blizzard conditions; My house in Tampa isn’t even outfitted with any kind of furnace; Both of us strictly focus on air conditioner plus dehumidifying. It’s honestly odd in the south, but I am way happier with the heat than the cold plus snow.
