It’s Spring cut y’all and our kids have been bugging me to take them to their favorite hangout spot in town… That spot is Scary Strokes, an indoor playground with miniature golf and arcade games.
They care about it because it has black lights throughout the facility and the games and prizes are better than the other sites in town, and i care about it because it’s a location that has climate control, which means it’s fantastic all year long.
In the Summer, if it’s too sizzling outside or if it’s rainy and wet, I can take the kids here knowing that the facility will have comfortable air conditioner. It beats me laying underneath a pavilion or on a bench at the park, but and needless to say, when it’s chilly outside, every one of us completely avoid the outside playground and parks. In addition to Scary Strokes, our kids care about going to the Barnes and Noble when they can’t play outside. Of course, I don’t mind because the Barnes and Noble also has climate control, which is perfect for me. The Barnes and Noble has fun workshops for the kids, but it also has stuff for the grownups as well. To be honest, as long as a facility has climate control and is open all year long, I don’t mind taking our kids to them. Thankfully Waldorf has a few sites that are appreciate that because it honestly beats laying at lake house on the sofa doing nothing. Although our house has fantastic heating and cooling, I would rather be out doing something with the kids, so, this week, I am looking forward to going to Scary Strokes as well as to the Barnes and Noble and I am sure our kids are as well.
