Working in an office like this one does not afford much opportunity for excitement.
I clock it at 9am, sit in a cubicle for eight hours or so, then clock out and go home.
All day long I work on accounts and file paperwork. It is tedious, but it pays the bills so what choice do I have? With this in mind, I jumped at the chance to go to the annual industry convention, which was being held in Albuquerque, New Mexico this year. A few other people were interested, as well, but I played politics and glad-handed the boss to score the trip. Like many people I have seen the natural beauty of the Albuquerque area on television for years, and couldn’t wait to experience it in person. There was also the matter of cannabis, something that Albuquerque is famous for. On my first day there I went to a training session at the conference, and signed in for the day, before sneaking away ASAP to start exploring Albuquerque. I didn’t come all this way to sit in a conference room the whole weekend, since I was in Albuquerque I wanted to discover everything it had to offer. My first stop was a cannabis dispensary, which didn’t take long to find since there are so many of them in Albuquerque. I bought several locally sourced strains of weed, including Uptown Funk, Walter White’s Bad Dream, and of course the famous Albuquerque Alabaster, a cannabis strain that is white in color. The rest of the convention went very smoothly after that.
