The oil furnace did not seem to be running in the house and it was only 60°
I care about living in Rocklin, CA, however i am just outside of Sacramento and close to everything that is fun. I am not too far away from the beach and I am legitimately close to reno, sacramento has a lot of fun things I enjoy at night, however during the winter, our friends and I like to go over to the ski resort… The ski resort is open until 2:00 in the morning… Even if both of us drive over after work, both of us still get plenty of time to ski on the slopes. The people I was with and I left Rocklin, CA last Thursday at 6:00 and both of us drove out to the ski area. The roads were covered with snow, however there was no precipitation coming down when both of us entered the mountainous area, however when both of us left the ski resort at 2:00 in the morning, it was snowing appreciate crazy. The snow was falling rapidly and visibility was low. It took 4 hours to drive 90 miles. The more than one-hour trip took twice as long. The people I was with and I had to drive with the heat running the whole time just to keep the windshield from fogging up and getting icy. When both of us finally got back to Rocklin, both of us had to deal with a heating problem in the apartment. The oil furnace did not seem to be running in the house and it was only 60°. Thankfully the apartment community manager pays for repairs to the oil furnace, because I spent all of our money on alcohol when both of us were at the ski home that night. The people I was with and I had to wait until the next morning to have the oil furnace repaired by a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service provider.
