Fisherman’s Wharf is one of the most popular attractions in San Francisco, CA.
It is one of my favorite spots to visit and spend the night.
The area is known as Fisherman’s Wharf because of the number of fishermen who migrated to the town in the 1690s. Fisherman’s Wharf is still populated by fishermen who actively sell their day catch. The area includes Ghirardelli Square which is a public landmark. Here, tourists find numerous eating establishments, bars, shops, and hotels. The area is very well known because of the Ghirardelli chocolate factory. They still sell chocolates today. My husband and I live just outside of San Francisco, in a smaller suburb of CA. I figured Fisherman’s Wharf would be a lovely place for a date night. There is a great deal of opportunity for entertainment there in the evening. My husband was happy when I suggested a trip to San Francisco. He likes going there because they offer such great prices on legal recreational marijuana. We have recreational marijuana dispensaries in our town as well, but we don’t have the variety of dispensaries or new strains to choose from. Plus our local prices are a lot higher. While we were in San Francisco, we stopped at a couple of dispensaries so we could buy a few things to take back home with us. My husband and I ate lunch at a lovely little seafood restaurant right by the wharf. The scallops were so big and fresh. They were prepared to perfection. There are so many amazing restaurants all across San Francisco, that it’s difficult to choose where to eat when you’re only spending a single day there. The prices are set so high for tourists in the fishing district that one day was all we could afford.
