The museum turned out to be a great date idea

Carol looked just as good as she did the night we met at the symphony.

My mom and I went to the symphony last Thursday and I ran into a girl that I knew from high school. It had easily been at least three or four years since I had seen her, but she still looked absolutely great. We talked for a few minutes during the brief intermission and then we exchanged contact information. A couple of days after the symphony, I decided to call Carol. We talked on the phone for almost 2 hours. The conversation was easy and flowing. When we were done talking, I decided to ask Carol if she wanted to join me at the Evansville Museum of Arts, history and science. It is a beautiful Museum located right on the Ohio River. It is one of my favorite places to visit in downtown Evansville. I didn’t know if Carol would think the museum was a fun place for a date or not, but she sounded very excited when I asked her to join me. We decided to meet at the Evansville location on Saturday morning. Carol looked just as good as she did the night we met at the symphony. We walked around the museum and we had lunch at a bar in Evansville when we were done. I would have loved to walk along the river with her, but the weather was starting to get cold and the sun was starting to set. The chilly temperatures and cold air made it impossible to continue our date outdoors. We decided to say good night for the evening and we made plans to see each other again soon.

Camping, fishing and weed

My dad and I prefer to go camping plus fishing.

Since my sibling never liked outdoor recreation, I would accompany my dad whenever he went on hikes into the woods adjacent to our house.

We formed a special bond whenever we were sitting together in nature, listening to the great sounds of the forest. He taught me how to watch for bears plus what to do if I ever encountered one while by myself or with others in the wilderness. Because of the skills my father taught me, I feel certain that I could survive indefinitely outside of society if I ever needed to get away from the insanity. However, the winters in Manitoba are downright brutal, so I eventually moved to Toronto to get close to the banks of Lake Ontario. Despite the lake-effect snow, the Toronto section is much warmer than my family’s seasoned lake house in Winnipeg. Despite living in Toronto, I prefer driving north to spots like Lake Simcoe to go camping plus fishing. This past weekend I stopped at a unquestionably wonderful weed dispensary in Newtonbrook on Drewry Ave. I decided to buy a package of pre-rolled joints so I could smoke them along the banks of Lake Simcoe. I prefer being in Toronto plus being around the people, but sometimes I need to get out to the countryside to know again like I did when I was still a kid in Manitoba. Sometimes I will take my cannabis vaporizer pen with me out to Lake Ontario plus take a ferry out to the Toronto Islands. If I want to see the town from thousands of feet up, I can visit the CN Tower as well. Living in Toronto is definitely more exciting than my former life in Winnipeg.

Living in the thumb

Before I moved to Toronto, I was a resident of the section of Michigan known as “the thumb.” Since the smaller part of Michigan looks like a glove, the portion of the state that literally resembles a human thumb was given that name.

In particular, I lived in Port Huron near the Canadian border plus the neighborhood of Sarnia.

I remember taking trips into Canada over the Blue Water Bridge with my family in the years before passports were required for travel plus out of the US. We would hop onto Highway 402 plus drive east until reaching Highway 401 just out of London, Ontario. If we stayed on Highway 401 plus drove northeast we’d eventually make it to Toronto. This was a fun drive to make because we had relatives living just out of Toronto in Pickering along the banks of Frenchman’s Bay in Lake Ontario. All of us kids would get on bikes plus ride down to Beachfront Park. Now that I’m living in Toronto as a resident, going to the banks of Lake Ontario with a disposable cannabis vape pen is one of my all time number one things I enjoy. Sometimes I rent a kayak so I can like my cannabis out on the open waters. These cannabis vaporizer pens are available at most cannabis dispensaries plus are simple to conceal just about someplace proper nicotine vaping is allowed. I try to limit myself to outdoor spaces so I’m not pushing the chance of getting caught too much, especially if I tried to watch a Maple Leaf’s hockey game at their rink.

It is legal now

They have numerous sativa plus indica strains of cannabis flower products, but I was more interested in cannabis edibles like RSO plus cannabis candy products

I was overjoyed when weed was okay for recreational use in Canada in 2018. Although we could obtain legal cannabis with a physician’s recommendation from 2001, the Cannabis Act was a sizable step ahead for Canadians plus visitors of Canada who use marijuana. It’s not a sizable surprise since public opinion polls showed that roughly 70% of Canadians favored an end to cannabis prohibition as far back as 1997. And as such, the Canadian government legalized medical cannabis a few years later in 2001. There were tons of medical designations under which a licensed physician in Canada could prescribe medical cannabis to an interested patient. It’s no surprise that by the end of that decade, there was a push among marijuana advocates to legalize cannabis for recreational use in the total country. Following the legalization of recreational cannabis in a number of states while I was in the mid 2010s, the Canadian government followed suit in 2018. Now I plus all of my fellow Canadian citizens can buy cannabis in this country without getting persecuted by the cops. I live in Mississauga, but I work in Toronto and officially shop at cannabis dispensaries in the metro city. I’m excited about this modern cannabis dispensary that just opened in North York on Sheppard Ave. They have numerous sativa plus indica strains of cannabis flower products, but I was more interested in cannabis edibles like RSO plus cannabis candy products. RSO is a full spectrum product so I bought a syringe along with a jar of cannabis flower buds. I suppose I’ll be going to see this cannabis dispensary in North York the next time I’m driving through the area.

I love the museums Canada offers

I enjoyed walking the halls after a few hits off a cannabis vaporizer pen

Ever since going to see museums for school, I have grown fond of them. It doesn’t matter if it’s a museum of natural science or an art history place, I prefer to get a friend and spend a few hours meandering the endless halls. It’s unquestionably special taking a glimpse into the past with the artifacts on display inside. When I was a kid going to university in Alberta, Canada, we used to visit the natural history museums in Edmonton and Calgary, plus my number one area about these field trips was getting to see the large dinosaur bones. In Canada numerous woolly mammoth bones have been found plus there is no shortage of them in natural history museums from the pacific coast to the atlantic shoreline. These towering creatures existed until the Holocene epoch when they went extinct, the last in a long line of mammoth animals existing on Earth. When I moved to Toronto from Alberta, I was amazed by the sheer number of museums in the city. For example, there is the Scarborough Museum, the Ontario Science Center, the Canadian Language Museum, the Royal Ontario Museum, plus The Black Museum to name just a few. Recently my close neighbor Paul plus I decided to get high with a cannabis vaporizer pen before spending a Monday afternoon at the Aga Khan Museum. This amazing museum showcases Islamic plus Persian art plus is a showcase of Muslim culture. I enjoyed walking the halls after a few hits off a cannabis vaporizer pen. It’s even better seeing Toronto’s numerous museums when you can stash a cannabis vaporizer pen in your pocket.
