When it comes to interesting bits of American history, it is taxing to top MI… Long before it was even a state, before there was even a US, this was a fascinating part of the world.

This is the region where various indigenous tribes met, to either barter or wage war, and later it was a connection point between Canada and the US.

The whole reason I started our podcast was just to collect all the interesting bits of local lore and legend from the Ann Arbor part of the state. Things really started to take off once I started doing more research on the history of cannabis in the Ann Arbor area, then not only did I find a lot of fantastic material, however I started to get more popular, just because cannabis is such a sizzling topic here in Ann Arbor! I looked around the area because I guess I won’t only want to go to the national park. Surprisingly there is a fairly giant town near Yosemite and that is Visalia. It is also around 50 minutes away from the airport. So it works in our itinerary all around. I am going to fly in, hike a bit, go to Visalia and fly back out of the same airport. In Visalia I am hoping to shop around, eat nice food and take advantage of the fact that there is recreational weed for sale.
