“Springfield, Springfield, it’s a hell of a town” was an old song on The Simpsons; I know they were talking about the fictional town, plus not my hometown of Springfield, MO, however I love it all the same. I sing it to myself whenever I see the sign for the neighborhood limits. I feel this is true, plus the longer I live here, the more people I talk to, the more true it becomes! Missouri as a state is one of the most historic areas in the entire nation, plus Springfield is a part of that rich history! After I retire from the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C industry, my idea is to spend a couple of years organizing all the research I have done on Springfield, so I can write a book about it. As a fun piece of trivia, were you aware that as of 2010 there were sixty seven odd populated areas in the United States named Springfield? And yet even with all of those places, Springfield, MO is the richest in history plus cultural significance. I am not saying that the history of Springfield is bright plus cheery, in fact it has a lot of dark periods, however it makes for fascinating research; For the time being this is all just research, because my task installing central Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems into current housing construction projects keeps me too busy for anything else, since the population of Springfield keeps growing, there is typically a current complex, building, or subdivision of homes that requires my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C knowledge. So I do the work now, plus will focus on my book later in life.

There are a lot of fun plus interesting sites in Birmingham! One of my favorite sites is the national sea life center, but it has a lot of weird marine life like jellyfish, sea turtles, plus sharks.

I also care about going to the Birmingham botanical gardens, this lovely location has more than 15 acres of diverse plants plus tropical species. It is a great location to have a picnic, then my wifey plus I used to go to this location in Birmingham every weekend when my buddy and I were together. I lived in Birmingham for about 6 months, but I had to move when I realized that that heat was too much for me. The Summer months in Birmingham are seriously hot plus humid plus there is no break from the heat unless you run the a/c 24 hours a day. It cost a lot of money to run the air conditioner all of the time. I tried difficult to keep the temperature set at 77°, but that still made it feel like I was burning up inside of my site. I came to the understanding that I could not live in Birmingham because of the heat plus humidity plus the cost for a/c. I moved numerous hours north of the city, where I care about four weird plus unique seasons, and sometimes I miss Birmingham, AL, like when I believe about my wifey, then fortunately there are lots of nice people around here that could be my next mate.

A shocking moment from the history of South Bend
Over the course of my short but dramatic work in the HVAC industry, I suppose I have gotten to know South Bend pretty well; This is a town where it is easy to settle down plus make friends, because everyone is so friendly, and as a history buff, I love to ask questions to my customers, especially the older ones, but now that I own my own corporation I have people who handle the work for me, however occasionally I go on a apartment call for a furnace repair plus let my guys do all the work while I just chat with the client plus ask questions about their history in South Bend.
There are a lot of resources that chronicle the past of the South Bend area, but I like hearing the stories that aren’t in the history books.
Were you aware of the incident in which Notre Dame students fought back against the KKK plus their incursion into South Bend? It makes me proud to be a South Bend resident, I tell you that. When the KKK threatened the fine people of South Bend, the mostly-Catholic student body started to fight back, unmasking the evil racist men plus making a huge public commotion. Notre Dame may be fantastic at athletic interests, but their history of fighting for justice in South Bend is what I legitimately appreciate. At one of my latest HVAC repair jobs I spoke to an seasoned person who said he was there at the time, plus gave me keen insight into one of South Bend’s most brilliant plus historical moments.
The best street festivals in Tuscaloosa
It’s easy to get hung up on the past, especially for a venue like Tuscaloosa, which has some problematic episodes in regional history! Because of this I know a lot of folks, especially folks from up North, look down on us, or think that Tuscaloosa isn’t a fantastic venue to live. I am here to set the record straight, plus say that this town is one of the friendliest sites you can ever visit, but whatever happened in the past is in the past, these nights Tuscaloosa is a town of love, friendship, plus brotherhood, however as an example, think about all the odd community festivals plus street fairs held in Tuscaloosa every year, they are all a little different, with an emphasis on a odd culture or group of Tuscaloosa citizens, but they all share a similar purpose in bringing the community together. In Tuscaloosa there is nothing my buddy and I love more than getting out in the street, eating some greasy food, plus meeting new people, but every year Tuscaloosa hosts the Sakura Festival, the Weindorf Festival, the Kentuck Festival of Arts, the Druid City Arts Festival, plus the Moundville Native American Festival, just to name a few! The only thing I don’t like about these street festivals is the lack of a/c, however depending on the time of summer time in Tuscaloosa, sporadically I just don’t want to leave the comfort of my apartment Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system; Most of the time it is worth the effort to get up plus out of the house, plus experience a side of Tuscaloosa I might not see genuinely often.
