I first visited Albuquerque about 10 years before moving here.
It was a family getaway and all of us were driving through the town on our way to a family celebration further north.
Unluckyly, it was such a brief experience that I didn’t get to see much of the city. When I eventually moved here for labor years later, I wanted to guess about the local attractions and historical landmarks. If you want to spend time outdoors, you can’t go wrong with the popular Petroglyph National Monument on the westside of Albuquerque off Unser Blvd. If you make your way to Atrisco Vista Blvd you can catch sight of the three volcanoes. The eastside of Albuquerque interests the Sandia Mountains which include Cibola National Forest and Sandia Peak. No matter what sort of outdoor excitement you’re looking for, Albuquerque is sure to have it. Indoor shopping is perfect in Old Town, which is the oldest district in downtown Albuquerque. In fact, I found a new air conditioner and oil furnace store while browsing Old Town, Albuquerque this week. It’s on Rio Grande Blvd and has barely been open for more than numerous months now. Even though Albuquerque isn’t short of heating and cooling suppliers, it’s nice to meet a new company face to face instead of trying to trust television commercials and stereo ads. The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce is also seriously helpful in providing corporation referrals regardless of what you’re looking for while you’re here. I am proud of residing in a place enjoy Albuquerque, New Mexico with its rich cultural heritage and mild temperature.
